VGD partnered with the NYC Department of Health to confront the connection between alcohol consumption and cancer risk with a campaign designed to stop people in their tracks.

Using the polished visual language of adult beverage advertising, we created bold, vibrant imagery that looked familiar at first glance—then revealed the message hidden in plain sight. The idea carried across OOH, digital, social, and video, with custom 3D animation shifting from bright and enticing to stark and sobering as the truth came into focus.

VGD helped New York State DMV transform the way vehicle sales are tracked, replacing paper forms and registry books with VERIFI—a streamlined, web-based system built for dealers and DMV staff. Easy to access, simple to adopt, and designed to keep transactions moving, VERIFI brings greater visibility, accuracy, and efficiency to the entire process.

VGD helped Delaware DNREC transform a complex, paper-heavy process into one seamless digital experience—giving residents and businesses an easier way to apply, pay and manage permits online, while giving staff smarter tools and more efficient workflows behind the scenes.

VGD helped MTV celebrate the VMAs’ return to New York City with a user-generated video contest built around one simple idea: let fans show why NYC belongs at the center of the moment. Young adults across the five boroughs created and shared videos spotlighting the places, people, and culture they would want to show their favorite VMA artist.

In just two weeks, the campaign generated 86 submissions, 78,000+ video views, and 1.9 million impressions among 16–24 year olds in NYC.

VGD partners with the NYC Board of Elections to make civic participation clearer, more accessible and more engaging—from the first reminder to vote to the moment a ballot is cast. Across brand identity, awareness campaigns, web experiences, social content, voter communications, poll-site signage, production and fulfillment, we create a connected system designed to help New Yorkers find the information they need and navigate the voting experience with confidence. The Board’s public-facing services span voter information, early voting, poll-worker resources and accessibility support.

VGD partnered with John Jay College to create a “Choose Your Own Adventure” Instagram experience that kept incoming students engaged over the summer and connected to campus before orientation even began.

Students followed story-driven posts, made choices and uncovered hidden codes along the way—turning social content into an interactive game built around curiosity, participation and community. Among an audience of just 1,500 incoming students, more than 550 codes were discovered, generating 650K+ impressions, 5,400+ engagements and a 9% increase in followers.

VGD partnered with the NYC Department of Education to transform the story of turn-of-the-century immigration into an interactive learning experience built for the classroom.

Combining rich storytelling with instructional design, we organized more than 100 historical artifacts—including photographs, documents, newspaper articles, political cartoons and video—into a platform that encouraged students to explore, discover and learn at their own pace. The app was downloaded more than 80,000 times by educators across the U.S. and was recognized as a 2015 Webby Honoree for Education & Reference.
